Refurbishment at The Green
"It was like being on 60 Minute Makeover!"
Service users at The Green were delighted this summer when their service underwent a full refurbishment.
In his own words, one service user said:
“The house was a bit run down before the refurbishment. We all had to move out for 4 weeks. Most of us went to Avenue Road and Warminster Road and S went to Florence Avenue. When we came back after the work was done it was like being on 60 Minute Makeover! We all ran around the house looking at all the rooms. All the walls were new and decorated and we had new doors, new bathrooms and new flooring. I called my dad straight away and told him it was like being in a posh hotel. We are all very proud of our new house and it looks great”.
