Our team at this community based development centre supports people:
- With profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs
- Aged 18 and over
Services
- Support to access a wide range of activities in the local community, including shopping, bowling, walks to the park and visiting local social and leisure facilities
- Therapy sessions including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, massage and music therapy
- Variety of activities and sessions including cookery, arts and crafts, sensory sessions and various themed projects
- Innovative approach using assistive technology and Total Communication
- External specialist support from massage therapist and physiotherapist
- Fully adapted environment, including overhead hoists and postural management equipment
- Sensory room with various sensory equipment including bubble light tubes, vibrating musical bean bags and fibre optic lights
