Case study: Service user B

I moved into Cleveland House seven years ago. When I moved in I was not very happy and I used to hurt people and not bath myself. Now I bath myself, I go out a lot and I help do jobs around the house loads. I go to Drama Wednesday and Thursday. Fridays I go to Waltham Forest College where I do Life skills.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I go to college and the rest of the days I go out a lot. Recently I have lost a lot of weight with the support of the staff. My staff help me a lot and my 2 managers are very nice to me. I like all the staff very much. Sometimes I go to France with my boyfriend with 1 staff member.

My 2 managers are teaching me how to look after my own money. They give me a wallet to keep with a small amount of money. Since my 2 managers took over, they have shown me how to do a lot of things by myself. I have also leant to use the laundry machine.

I am involved in the home a lot and I have interviewed new staff a few times.

I am very happy at Cleveland house and my mum is also happy with my improvement. I do not hurt people any more I help them with jobs.
