Who are we?

We are a group of people who work to make a beneficial difference to the lives of the individuals who have chosen, often with help, to use our services.

We in turn invest in both personnel and buildings to ensure that we can meet our commitments to the people who use our services.

We believe people come first whilst recognising the need to provide cost effective value for money services. We are a public service company, so wish to work in partnership with the commissioners of services in both local government and the NHS. We also recognise that the partnership includes parents, close family members, advocates as well as the service users themselves.

To achieve this we need to recruit staff of the highest calibre and to offer them the opportunity to develop their professional skills so that they are fully capable of supporting the service users to reach their full potential.

We believe that in order for our services to properly reflect need they must be flexible; this way they adopt new patterns of support as service users change and develop. Service users have the right to live securely, knowing that our support will be consistently available and if necessary, on a long term basis. They have a right to be protected from any danger which they themselves cannot manage.
